These are strange times for the Steelers. Their All Pro RB, Le’Veon Bell, continues to hold out and in a span of two days, their All Pro WR, Antonio Brown, tweeted “Trade me” and inexplicably missed team meetings and film sessions. Brown was visibly frustrated on the field during Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs and abruptly left the locker room.
The season isn’t getting off to a very good start for the Steelers. No one knows why Brown did not report to the team facility on Monday and Mike Tomlin is scheduled to speak to the media at any moment so we should get some answers as I’m sure it will be brought up. One thing is for sure, the Steelers can’t afford to be without Bell and Brown if this proves to be anything more than an isolated incident.
